This is a private reference site, not a Jack County government office. It cannot confirm custody, release an inmate, post bond, schedule a visit, or pull an official booking record. Use the official office that controls the record or custody decision.
Official Jail and Records Contacts
The Jack County Sheriff's Office operates the Jack County Law Enforcement Center / Jack County Jail and handles sheriff open-records requests. The sheriff's open-records page says requests must be submitted in writing and are not accepted by telephone. Phone numbers are useful for procedural questions or current jail questions, but they are not a formal records-request channel.

Use the records path that matches the question:
- For someone in the county jail, start with jail inmate records and then call the jail if current custody needs direct confirmation.
- For booking photos, use jail roster mugshots and the sheriff's written open-records process when the photo is not online.
- For charges filed after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest and the correct clerk or prosecutor contact.
- For facility details, use the Jack County Law Enforcement Center / Jack County Jail page linked in the footer.
- For a sentenced Texas prisoner, use the TDCJ inmate search, not the county roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP inmate locator or ICE detainee locator.
